The hardest moment is not typing. It is the blank moment after a question, when you know the answer and cannot get to it.

Loquela reads what has just been said and offers a few things you might want to say back. They appear at the top of the phrases list, in their own colour, so they are never mistaken for the ready-made phrases underneath.

They are answers to the question, not words put in your mouth

The heading says possible answers to what was said — not your answers. The distinction is deliberate. They are suggestions about the question, and choosing one is always a decision.

Tap one and it is spoken. Ignore them and they cost nothing.

What they read

Only the conversation happening now. Suggestions never draw on past conversations, and nothing from an earlier day is used to guess what someone might say today.

They stay on screen while a reply is being typed — they only clear once something has actually been said, so a half-finished thought never makes the help vanish.

When there is nothing

Sometimes Loquela has nothing useful to offer, and it says so plainly rather than inventing three vague sentences. That is a real answer.

Suggestions need a connection. Without one they simply do not appear — there is no error to dismiss.

They can be wrong

They are produced by a machine, which is why the warning above the conversation never goes away. Read one before tapping it. The original of whatever was said is always on screen to check against.
